A North Carolina man bought some hot dog buns that came with a little surprise inside. Little Ratatouille didn't make it this time.

"I was cooking dinner and I brought these out and I opened them up," the IBM exec said. "That's our little friend right there. And that clearly is a mouse."

Time for Arnold bread to adopt some cats.

I am working on a schoolyard garden with my good friend, Todd Wilkinson. He turned me onto this video via email, and it speaks best for itself:

"If you get a chance, check out this video about that guy named Will Allen and his organization Growing Power who just won a $500K MacArthur Fellowship. He teaches workshops to aspiring urban farmers. It would be rad to attend one of his workshops.

He has some really awesome quotes.

Many of us have washed dishes in a restaurant. It's a dirty position, but as any top chef will tell you, is really one of your very most important cogs in the machine. It's great to see someone rise from dishwasher to exec chef.

It's a hotly debated election year, and I've been waiting for more satirical campaigns based around red and blue politics. (The recent Paris Hilton McCain response is pretty "hot"). Anyway, Miller High Life is out with a good one. "If you are drivin' a Humvee, yo' but better be headin' into battle!" I love that line!

I'm a burrito fiend, and I love late night 4am burritos. This is silly, but funny, and only marginally has anything to do with burritos, but still, worth four mintues and fourteen seconds of your time.
