Bikes and Bites - Eat, Drink and Pedal

I recently came across an article exposing Bikes and Bites. It's an organization that provides cruiser bikes at downtown hotels and gets you a map to hit all the restaurants, bars, and hot spots on the grid. On many trips to NYC, I would stay at the TriBeCa Grand Hotel, and one of the perks of the hotel, other than the goldfish in your room, is that they have bikes ready for the taking. It's a great way to explore Manhattan. It's wonderful to see the idea spreading to California. This one is in Sacramento, and here is an interview with the owner (click his name to send him a direct email!), Robin Little.
How do people get ahold of you?
I am getting a phone number by Monday.
Where do they go?
The Bikes and Bites will be housed at 1013 - 12th Street (between J & K Streets)
How much is it, and for how long?
The cost is $10 for the first two hours and $2 for each additional hour. We are working on Daily rates.
What was your inspiration in starting this?
Owning a travel company I am involved in tourism. So, I see first hand the out of town traveler check into a hotel in Sacramento and no convenient place to rent a bike. I want to make the experience affordable with low rates to rental a bike. This also extends to the people that live in Sacramento and the outlining communities such as Roseville, Folsom, EDH or Elk Grove who want to come into Sacramento for the day or evening and ride around on a bike and enjoy great restaurants and shops.
