My favorite thing to do is eat at spectacular restaurants. So I thought I would share with you my two most favorite places to eat in Phoenix. I am sure you will not be disappointed.
Quiessence Restaurant and Wine Bar
The drive thru the Farm at South Mountain is enchanting. The food at Quiessence is simply delicious. The menu changes pretty much every day depending on what is in season. The chef there is a pure genius!
Pizzeria Bianco
This great pizzeria is in Heritage Square in Down Town Phoenix and is a real gem. This pizza place got voted best pizza in the United States. The chef won a highly acclaimed James Beard award and that is pretty impressive.

If your looking for a great breakfast / brunch place Morning Glory Café on the Farm at South Mountain is the place for you. It’s a super charming place to eat. Sit outside on picnic tables under the pecan trees. How breathtaking is that!

Looking to do lunch? Pane Bianco has wonderful sandwiches made on fresh brick oven baked bread. This place doesn’t get old. Simply delicious!

Awe… that's too bad. I have been to Bianco's four times and the wait was so worth it. Besides it not just like you’d be out side sitting on a bench all the time. You can hang out at the bar and have apps too. It's in a great historical building. There also is a great British pub now too. I know lot' people in the restaurant biz and they wait just wait like the rest of us folks. Besides 1.5 hours did you say? Hmmm that's isn't bad at all. I have waited much longer. There is a long line at the door even before it opens. That speaks volumes.
I have been to Tutti Santi when I first moved to Arizona. I have been to Phoenix City Grill a couple times and I like it as well and Richardson’s down the street too. My favorite place still nonetheless are Q and B. I have live in Phoenix area for four years from the East Coast. I have eaten pretty much everywhere here.
Have a great day! ;.)

I lived in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area for just under 4 years. Phoenix definitely has hidden gems of restaurants. However I never made it to Pizzaria Bianco, because every time we went there the wait was 1.5+ hours. And I don't care... I never wait that long.
My favorites are: "Tutti Santi", both the location in Phoenix (North 16th St) and the one in Scottsdale (East Greenway) are to die for. I have never had pasta like that before. The ravioli's can make you think you died and went to heaven. And the pink sauce is so creamy and smooth.
Another favorite is "Phoenix City Grill" which also located on North 16th. They have the best pot roast of any restaurant. I make a mean one, but this place is superb. The meat just melts in your mouth and the onion flavor is just right, not overwhelming at all. For dessert you need to get their Bread Pudding. I have to admit, we would get dinner at one place and go to PCG for dessert because it is that good.
